Relationship between mugging and result
The following is the graph of exam score against effort put in mugging.
At effort=0, you will still get some marks for exam due to the effect of luck and common sense. When you start mugging, the gradient is gentle as it is hard to grasp the concept of various topic. As a result, you will spend more time than expected to understand the basic concept.
Then, the gradient become steep as you already know the basic concept and it is very easy to improve and master the whole topics.
However, it will reach a point where continued mugging effort will have a negliable improvement in exam grade.

Yay, O's are finally over(ignore the 3 days late exclaimation).

What can we learn from this? There are several things.

LAN outing

Well, O's are almost over and it's time to relax!!! So, i was thinking if anybody is interested to go LAN (to play computer games, of cuz) after O's, probably in the morning of the class chalet day. But den muz have a reasonable number of ppl going, otherwise suan le. The last time only 5 ppl went, cnt even play inhouse...(sry to those who nvr get de chance to play though) This time will be going somewhere else ba, should be possible for everyone to play. In case u r wondering, it is not FOC, have to pay per hr de, from $1~2/hr. The games that the LAN shop offers include wc3(standard game), Dota, CS, alot of war game, etc. All newbies or duno how to play one also welcomed. Hope more ppl want to go this time. Those interested pls tag on de tagboard. Do help me to jio ppl (preferably from our class) to go also, cuz not everyone visit this blog =).

Been a while since I posted a guess. Now a bit more relaxed le, shot down both english and geog papers. Somehow feels like a heavy burden has been lifted.

So far,

Monday - Chem Paper 2

Tues - El 1+2

Wed - Amaths 1

Thurs - Geog(and coincidentially junkai's bdae)

Note: No bananas for you.

Moving on..Friday - Emaths 1 and amaths 2

Papers next week, phy, emaths and bio paper 2.

Mug hard, but not as hard as geog. That was just crazy ._. People sleeping time the night before geog had quite big range. Some slept around 10-11pm. Others like me around 2-3am while some went to the extreme of 5am or maybe even beyond.

Tips for exams(kinda late):

1. Don't sleep late(I am a hypocrite on this point though). Sleep well the night before.

2. Study enough before hand.

3. Practice some questions, like ten year series. Best way to know if you remember what you have learnt.

4. Set aside short periods of time to relax. Trust me, studying hours at one shot is crazy.(Though I still do it anyway >.>)

5. Don't go crazy with studying. Studying is one thing, but there is also over-studying. If you reach the point where you can actually see the information and study in your dreams, you know you have crossed that line.

If all else fails, study and mug like a dog.

Learn from him/her/it^^.

Oh, and learn not to get tricked by primary school questions. Such as how many times more/as much as or increased by this much etc.

Anyway, 7 papers more to shoot down.
9 papers more for higher chinese.
10 papers more for higher chinese+chinese literature / music.

Time to get back to reality, starting off with going through prelim papers. >.>. Going to be doing SS at least thrice next week IIRC. Oh well, hope for the best and that nobody did any paper badly. If so, use this as a chance to tell yourself to mug hard.

Hello! I'm back. It's 4am in the morning here. I still don't know my address but what I know is that the time here is 12 hours later than the time there. Okay, yet another day for me at home and yet another day for ya'll in school. Oh don't be jealous. As ya'll face all the challenges ya'll face in school, I'm making a lot of preparation myself for my way to Canada. It comes with a lot of boredom too. Oh well.

Mei Yoke: Hey, to be honest, you've been the most irritating/talkative/emotional girl I've ever known. I'd give Xin Yi a dollar to smack you! Haha! However, I still felt that you're a nice person deep within(could be lots better if you talked less though)lol. I still would like to apologize for the number of times I almost and did make you cry. It was fun back then but yeah, time passes. Haha. Anyway, I hope you don't become lame than you already are. I think that'd be difficult anyway. lol.

Yue Hao: Hey, another 2L friend. Well, knew you since sec 2 and we did talk. At first I was irritated with you cause you were so prim and proper while I was the heck-the-rules type. But since I became a student leader, well, I had to follow the rules too. Ok, we talked more as we were seated front-to-back in class at 4-2. It has been fun making fun of Mei Yoke for 1 and a half years, High-Five! (sorry Mei Yoke) Haha! Well, I'm impressed that you actually could keep up with us in training. Your body really looks like it's going to break anytime soon. Better eat more while you're young! Just worry bout all those health problems when you get older. Haha!

Edward: Yo! Another 2L friend. Technically, you were my first friend in school. I still remember Ah-Loke asking you to 'have the honours' to be my first friend.Haha!
